Takafumi Horie suggests bank transfers for cash-only shops

Entrepreneur Takafumi Horie has gained attention on social media for suggesting a solution to the dilemma of encountering cash-only establishments without physical currency. The discussion was sparked by a post from creative director Shinpei Takagi, who noted being in Kyoto without a wallet or credit cards.

In response to the predicament, Horie suggested that individuals can perform an immediate online bank transfer to the establishment's account using a smartphone. This advice was corroborated by investor Kei Tanaka, who shared a past experience of nearly asking strangers for cash via digital payment apps before successfully resolving a similar situation through a direct bank transfer at the shop.
