Takaoka City Central Shopping District to issue premium gift certificates

The Takaoka City Central Shopping District is issuing premium gift certificates to stimulate local commerce. Supported by city and prefectural subsidies, the issuance includes 2,500 booklets, an increase of 600 booklets compared to last year.

Each booklet is sold for 10,000 yen but provides 13,000 yen in value, consisting of thirteen 1,000-yen vouchers. Individuals are limited to purchasing two booklets each. Applications must be submitted online between October 10 and October 16. If applications exceed availability, winners will be selected via lottery and notified by mail.

Successful applicants can purchase and exchange their certificates on October 31 and November 1 at a special venue on the 6th floor of Otoya Serio. The certificates are valid at 112 registered stores, including areas such as Otabiya-dori, Suehiro-machi, and Sakashita-machi, through January 11 of next year. The vouchers cannot be used for utility bills, stamps, or other gift certificates.
