Takaoka Nursing Professional School hosts nursing experience for elementary students

Elementary school students in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, participated in a nursing experience program at Takaoka Nursing Professional School. The annual event aims to increase interest and understanding of the nursing profession amidst a national shortage of nurses.

Participants from Toide Tobu Elementary School engaged in various activities, including using stethoscopes to listen to organ sounds, handling surgical tools, and wearing surgical gowns and gloves. Students noted the difficulty of wearing surgical gear and expressed interest in the field through these hands-on demonstrations.
