Takashi Miike Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo cinema releases Best Movie Collection Amori & Incantesimi 2

The film industry is preparing several notable releases for late 2026. Director Takashi Miike is set to helm ‘Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo’, the third installment in the franchise. This international co-production involving Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and France follows a corrupt Tokyo police officer and an FBI agent as they navigate the Yakuza underworld.

Other upcoming Japanese productions include ‘Ryuji’, a remake of the 1983 film starring Yuya Yagira, and the mystery-action film ‘Bara no kusari’ featuring Ryuhei Maruyama.

In mainstream cinema, the sequel ‘Amori & Incantesimi 2’ (Magic & Spells 2), directed by Susanne Bier, is scheduled for release on September 10. The film reunites Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as the Owens sisters, exploring a generational curse affecting their family's ability to find love.
