Takatora Nagasaga transfers from Kawasaki Frontale to Beerschot

Japanese footballer Takatora Nagasaga is transferring from Kawasaki Frontale to the Belgian second-division club K. Beerschot V.A. on a permanent basis. Nagasaga, 23, was previously on a developmental loan at Fukushima United FC.

Nagasaga joined Kawasaki Frontale in 2022 and has since spent time on loan at several clubs, including Mito HollyHock, Thespakusatsu Gunma, Tegevajaro Miyazaki, and FC Ryukyu. In a statement, Nagasaga expressed pride in his time with Frontale and a desire to succeed in Belgium to validate his career choices.

Murat Akin, Sporting Director at Beerschot, praised the signing, describing Nagasaga as a “young, dynamic winger” with speed and strong one-on-one abilities. He noted that the player's left-footedness and ability to play on both sides of the pitch make him a valuable asset for the team's attacking depth.
