Takayuki Yamada leads “THE OPEN CALL” audition series on Lemino

The promotional trailer and key visual for “THE OPEN CALL -MAIN PARTNER Takayuki Yamada-” have been released ahead of its October 1 premiere on Lemino. The project is a large-scale public audition designed to select the main cast for an original film, open to applicants regardless of experience, agency affiliation, or nationality.

Approximately 14,000 individuals aged 15 to 84 applied for the audition. The series follows the journey of these contestants as they face various screening stages. Guest partners Tadanobu Asano, Akari Takaishi, and Tsuyoshi Muro are featured in the footage, interacting with candidates to explore the essence of acting.

The documentary-style entertainment series will be distributed exclusively on Lemino, with the first episode available for free with advertisements and subsequent episodes requiring a Lemino Premium subscription.
