Takeat revenue grows 30x following AWS cloud migration
The food service management startup Takeat has reported a 30-fold increase in revenue and a 22-fold increase in its customer base following a strategic infrastructure migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Previously, the company operated on a monolithic architecture that faced scaling issues, including frequent system downtime during peak demand periods. To resolve these technical challenges, Takeat partnered with KXC Tecnologia to implement a serverless architecture. This transition allows the platform to support over 80,000 simultaneous accesses, facilitating seamless integration for restaurants, QR code ordering, and digital wallet services.
This case highlights a broader trend in Brazil, where digital adoption is a key driver for small business growth. According to Sebrae, companies utilizing digital technologies are, on average, 26% more likely to increase their revenue.
