Takeda resolves labor dispute at Pisa production site

A labor dispute regarding agency workers at the Takeda production site in Pisa has concluded following a signed agreement between the company and the Felsa-Cisl and Femca-Cisl unions.

The agreement aims to mitigate the social impact of staff reductions. Key provisions include reducing the number of contract terminations from 67 to 48 units and providing permanent employment for 10 workers. For those leaving, the deal includes substantial severance packages and a seven-month availability indemnity of 1,150 euros per month provided by Adecco. Additionally, the agreement establishes a right of first refusal for affected workers should company needs change in the future.
