Takefusa Kubo faces scrutiny over playing time at Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad midfielder Takefusa Kubo has faced criticism regarding his role within the squad following a match against Levante. Despite recently scoring his first goal of the season against Malaga and starting in a recent Europa League fixture, Kubo remained an unused substitute during the 2-1 victory over Levante.

This lack of playing time has led to speculation among observers that Kubo may be utilized primarily as a turnover player to manage workload during matches against weaker opponents. While his recent goal suggested a potential rise in the team hierarchy, his exclusion from the pitch in the Levante match has raised questions about his current standing under manager Pellegrino Matarazzo.
