Real Sociedad defeats Málaga 5-2 led by Takefusa Kubo

Real Sociedad secured a dominant 5-2 away victory against Málaga in a La Liga match. Takefusa Kubo, returning to the starting lineup for the first time in seven official matches, played a decisive role by scoring the opening goal in the 3rd minute and providing an assist for Mikel Oyarzabal later in the game.

Kubo’s performance follows a period of limited playing time due to injury and competition for positions. His goal and assist helped Real Sociedad maintain momentum, with Oyarzabal also scoring twice. Málaga managed to score two goals through Adrián Niño and Pablo Martínez, but were unable to overcome the Basque side's offensive pressure.

Real Sociedad manager Pellegrino Matarazzo praised Kubo’s focus and determination, stating, “He showed what he can do.” Local media also highly rated Kubo’s contribution, noting his ability to create threats on the right wing.
