TakeMe2Space to launch orbital computing satellite via SpaceX

Indian startup TakeMe2Space plans to launch its MOI-1A orbital computing satellite on October 1, 2026, as part of SpaceX’s Transporter-18 rideshare mission. The spacecraft, weighing less than 50 kilograms, is designed to perform AI inference and data processing in orbit rather than transmitting large volumes of raw data to ground stations.

Equipped with NVIDIA Orin NX edge computing processors, the satellite allows customers to upload containerized AI models. The system processes information while overflying specific areas and transmits only the analyzed results, which reduces bandwidth requirements and costs associated with massive data downloads.

TakeMe2Space has secured 23 customers for the mission, spanning sectors such as agriculture, mining, supply-chain management, insurance, and geographic information systems. Among its clients is the American spatial analytics firm Little Place Labs.
