Take-Two Interactive posts Q1 earnings, maintains FY2027 bookings outlook for GTA VI launch

Take-Two Interactive reported first‑quarter fiscal 2027 results with net bookings of $1.39 billion and revenue of $1.53 billion, slightly above analyst estimates. The company posted a net loss of $34.1 million ($0.18 per share), an operating loss of $35.5 million and adjusted EBITDA of $167 million, down 26% year‑over‑year.

Despite the weaker earnings, Take‑Two kept its FY2027 net bookings outlook at $8.0‑$8.2 billion, below the consensus forecast of $8.86 billion, and trimmed its adjusted‑EBITDA guidance to $1.54‑$1.60 billion. The firm also recorded a $43.4 million impairment charge for a shelved third‑party title.

The company reiterated that the highly anticipated "Grand Theft Auto VI" will launch on November 19, 2026. Pre‑orders began on June 25, with the standard edition priced at $79.99 and an "Ultimate" edition at $99.99. Executives expect the game to generate billions of dollars within days of release.

Separately, Take‑Two announced the tokenized equity of its shares, $TTWO, will be listed on the Solana blockchain on August 6, 2026, offering 1:1 redeemable tokens backed by the underlying stock.
