TAKI to star in stage adaptation of manga Wandance in March 2027

The stage adaptation of the popular manga “Wandance,” titled “Wandance on STAGE,” is scheduled to run from March 19 to March 28, 2027, at MoN Takanawa in Tokyo. TAKI, a 22-year-old member of the dance and vocal group THE JET BOY BANGERZ, will make his stage debut in the lead role of Kabo (Kazuki Kotani).

Based on the manga by Koha Coffee serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon, the production will be scripted and directed by Ito Imahito of the dance entertainment group Umebo. The performance will take place in the Box1000 theater space, which features advanced LED technology. An audition for ensemble dancers is also planned, with initial document screenings set to conclude in September 2026.
