Takoran Nature and Culture Festival begins in Siverek

The National Takoran Nature and Culture Festival has commenced in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, Turkey. The event began with a parade starting from Kanlıkuyu Square and concluding at the Atatürk Monument, attended by local officials, including Siverek District Governor Salih Sak and Mayor Ali Murat Bucak.

Mayor Bucak emphasized the festival's role in promoting the Takoran region and expressed gratitude for the support from the GAP Administration. He noted the presence of international guests and members of the Siverek diaspora. District Governor Salih Sak highlighted the importance of preserving the area's natural beauty, including its canyon and clean water, noting that Takoran is a designated natural protected area. The festival, which aims to bring national and international recognition to the region, is scheduled to conclude on October 11.
