Takuma Inoue and Tenshin Nasukawa set for WBC title rematch

Takuma Inoue and Tenshin Nasukawa have successfully completed their weigh-in for their WBC bantamweight title rematch at the Toyota Arena Tokyo. Inoue weighed in at 117.7 lbs, while Nasukawa recorded 117.9 lbs.

This rematch follows their first encounter on November 24, 2025, where Inoue won by unanimous decision to claim the vacant WBC bantamweight title. Nasukawa, seeking redemption after his first professional loss, earned this opportunity following a knockout victory over Juan Francisco Estrada.

The event, organized by Teiken Promotions, features a full card of world title matches. In addition to the main event, the card includes bouts for the vacant WBC super flyweight title between Tomoya Tsuboi and Ricardo Malajika, as well as matches for the WBO interim minimumweight and IBF super bantamweight titles.
