Takuya Kimura holds first solo overseas concert in Seoul

Japanese artist Takuya Kimura held a concert in Seoul, South Korea, marking his first-ever overseas performance as a solo artist. The event is part of his ‘TAKUYA KIMURA Live Tour 2026 Checkpoint’, supporting his album ‘Checkpoint’ released in August.

During the show, Kimura addressed the local audience in Korean, expressing his happiness at being able to perform in the country. The setlist featured 22 songs, including tracks from his latest album such as ‘BLACK DENIM’ and ‘Hikari no Naka de’, the latter of which was provided by Taka of ONE OK ROCK. He also performed an acoustic version of ‘Celery’.

The tour includes nine performances across five cities, including Hyogo, Fukuoka, Chiba, Seoul, and Taipei. The tour is scheduled to conclude with a final performance in Chiba on November 23.
