Takway AI unveils Sweekar, an AI-powered evolving virtual pet

Takway AI has introduced Sweekar, an AI-powered virtual pet that integrates robotics and generative models to evolve alongside its owner. Presented at CES 2026, the egg-shaped device is currently undergoing a funding campaign to begin production.

Unlike traditional virtual pets, Sweekar features physical growth stages, transitioning from an egg to a baby, adolescent, and finally an adult. The device uses voice recognition and memory to form a unique personality based on user interactions, such as talking, touching, and playing. The goal of the project is to create a sustained, physical relationship between the user and the robotic companion.
