Tal Dilian welcomes end of Cyprus corruption probe
Intellexa founder Tal Dilian has welcomed the decision by Cyprus’s Independent Authority Against Corruption to terminate its investigation into the so-called ‘black van’ case. Dilian stated that he respects the professionalism and independence of the Cypriot authorities and their conclusion that there is no need for further inquiry, noting that the issues had been thoroughly examined previously.
Dilian criticized attempts to link the Cypriot investigation to the wiretapping scandal in Greece, characterizing such connections as being based on a ‘convenient narrative’ rather than actual facts. He expressed confidence that ongoing legal processes in Greece will eventually lead to the restoration of his reputation and the clarification of the allegations made against him and three other defendants.
