Talas Belediyespor wins two championships at Academy Erciyes Cup 2026

Talas Belediyespor achieved dual championships at the Academy Erciyes Cup 2026, held at the High Altitude Training Center in Erciyes at an elevation of 1,850 meters. The club's teams born in 2015 and 2017 secured first place in their respective categories.

The tournament featured 41 teams from various cities across Turkey, competing in U9, U10, U11, U12, and U13 categories over three days. The event provided young athletes with competitive experience and a test of physical conditioning under high-altitude conditions.

Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın and AK Party Kayseri Provincial Chairman Hüseyin Okandan attended the matches to support the players. Okandan noted that hosting teams from across the country contributes significantly to sports tourism in Kayseri. The success of the club is being attributed to the municipality's 'Athlete Factory' approach to youth development and infrastructure investment.
