Kayseri prepares for Turkey Culture Route Festival with transport and food initiatives

The Turkey Culture Route Festival is scheduled to take place in Kayseri from September 5 to 13, 2026. To support the event, the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has announced special transportation arrangements to ensure safe and easy access to the festival grounds at the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Millet Bahçesi. These measures include dedicated bus services (line 693) running between Cumhuriyet Square and the festival site, as well as additional trips on the T1 light rail line.

In addition to logistics, the festival will highlight regional gastronomy. Several venues have been designated as ‘Flavor Points,’ including the Culinary Arts Center and Mülhem Kayseri Mutfağı, which aim to showcase the city's traditional culinary heritage. In the Talas district, Tokana Yöresel Lezzetler has also been selected as a featured flavor point.

Furthermore, Talas Municipality has implemented extended visiting hours for various cultural and natural sites, such as the ‘100th Year Museum from Çanakkale to the Republic’ and local recreation areas, following the national ‘Night Museology’ initiative to increase visitor engagement during the summer and festival periods.
