Talas Municipality renews ISO 9001:2015 quality certification

Talas Municipality ISO 9001:2015 Turkish Standards Institute Quality Management System municipal services

Talas Municipality has had its Quality Management System renewed by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) following an external audit. The municipality has maintained a quality certification tradition for approximately 20 years, having begun its journey in 2005.

The newly issued TS EN ISO 9001:2015 certificate was issued on August 11, 2026, and remains valid until August 11, 2029. The municipality previously transitioned to the ISO 9001:2008 standard in 2011 before adopting the current ISO 9001:2015 standard.

Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın emphasized that the municipality views quality as a service philosophy focused on citizen satisfaction and operational correctness rather than merely a formal document.
