Talas Municipality is transforming a historical water cistern located in Ottoman Culture Street into a modern Climate Museum. The project has transitioned from a concept to a concrete investment following technical support from the Middle Anatolia Development Agency (ORAN) under its 2025 Technical Support Program.

The Turkish Environment Agency has provided a 4 million TL grant to facilitate the museum's implementation. The facility is designed to be an interactive, experience-based educational center, utilizing advanced digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and holograms to teach visitors about climate change, natural life, and natural disasters.

The project aims to raise environmental awareness, particularly among children, by integrating interactive elements like LED world globes and digital displays into the historical structure.
