Talavera CF wins Trofeo CMM 25 Aniversario in Puertollano

Talavera CF has been crowned champion of the Trofeo CMM 25 Aniversario held at the Ciudad de Puertollano stadium. The final, which was decided by a penalty shootout, saw Talavera CF defeat runner-up Calvo Sotelo Puertollano CF in a closely contested match.

Following this victory, Talavera CF is set to compete in the grand final of the Trofeo Junta de Comunidades against Albacete Balompié. Blanca Fernández, the delegate of the Castilla-La Mancha Government in Ciudad Real, praised both teams for their sportsmanship and fair play.

During the event, Fernández also highlighted the regional government's commitment to football clubs across various categories. For the 2026/2027 season, the regional executive will provide 482,000 euros in Eturia aid to support local clubs, contributing to a regional total of over 56,000 federated football licenses.
