Talavera de la Reina advances Los Caños fountain reconstruction

Reconstruction works are underway in Talavera de la Reina to restore the historic Los Caños fountain and washhouse. Following the discovery of original remains, technical teams, including municipal technicians and archaeologists, have met on-site to coordinate the next stages of the intervention.

The project is being executed in two phases. The current phase focuses on recovering the ancient washhouse through cleaning, adaptation, and detailed documentation of the perimeter structures. The second phase, planned for next year, aims to create a peri-urban park to integrate the area into a public use space.
