Talavera de la Reina to host 11th annual charity fashion show for cancer research

The city of Talavera de la Reina is preparing for the 11th edition of the 'Modelos de superación' charity fashion show, scheduled for October 24 at Talavera Ferial. The event aims to raise funds entirely for the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

Mayor José Julián Gregorio, organizer Rosi Duque, and AECC president Luis Miguel Alonso presented the initiative, which is part of a broader week of oncological research and awareness from October 19 to 24. This year's edition features a 1920s aesthetic, celebrating the centenary of flapper fashion. The event serves as a symbolic tribute to patients, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and researchers.
