Talgo showcases major European rail contracts at InnoTrans

Spanish manufacturer Talgo is showcasing its recent European contracts and technological advancements at InnoTrans in Berlin. The company is highlighting major international projects, including a €756 million contract with Sweden's transport administration, Trafikverket. This deal involves the delivery of 10 locomotives and 20 train compositions, along with a decade of maintenance services.

Additionally, Talgo is presenting its work for the German operator Flixtrain. This is part of a larger €2.4 billion order for 65 high-speed trains based on the Talgo 230 platform. The exhibition features a full-scale model of the Swedish sleeper cars and the first passenger car manufactured for Flixtrain, emphasizing digital systems and platform-level accessibility.

Technological innovations on display include Talgo's patented independent running system and advanced robotics for autonomous fleet maintenance. The company is also utilizing augmented reality to allow visitors to visualize train interiors in 3D.
