Art exhibitions open and close in Spain, Dominican Republic, and Mexico
Various art exhibitions are currently opening or concluding across Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
In Madrid, the Museo Lázaro Galdiano is hosting the final days of ‘Bunny’, the first official Spanish exhibition for American photographer Talia Chetrit. Organized by the Fundación LOEWE as part of PHotoESPAÑA 2026, the show features nearly three decades of analog photography exploring themes of identity, motherhood, and vulnerability.
In Santo Domingo, the Amicus Art Gallery has inaugurated ‘Together: Affinity Plus Art’. This joint exhibition by artists Iris Pérez Romero and Inés Tolentino explores how friendship and creative dialogue can serve as drivers for contemporary art.
In Mexico City, the Centro Histórico is hosting ‘TO TONALE YE OMOTLATIUH’ (Our sun has set), a collective sculptural installation created by participants of the Taller de Dibujo Indisciplinado in Xochimilco. Using clay to explore memory and personal history, the installation will be available from August 26 to September 9.
