Talking Heads’ ‘Fear of Music’ to receive Super Deluxe Edition

Rhino has announced a Super Deluxe Edition of Talking Heads’ third studio album, ‘Fear of Music’, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026. The package is designed as a 3CD/Blu-ray set priced at $89.98.

The collection includes a complete remaster of the album alongside six rarities, such as alternate versions of ‘Mind’ and ‘Life During Wartime’, and the unfinished outtake ‘Dancing For Money’. Additionally, the set features two complete 1979 concerts: a 15-song performance from Boston’s Berklee Performance Center and a 14-song performance from the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey. Most of these live performances are previously unreleased.

The Blu-ray component provides high-fidelity audio options, including Dolby Atmos, discrete 5.1 surround sound, and high-resolution stereo. It also contains video performances of ‘Life During Wartime’ and ‘Air’ from the 1979 Old Grey Whistle Test.
