Talleres players face supporter protests amid sporting crisis

Talleres de Córdoba is facing internal and external pressure following a period of poor sporting results. Approximately 40 supporters (barras) visited the Amadeo Nuccetelli High Performance Center to express dissatisfaction with the team's performance, demanding greater commitment from the players.

Amid the tension, former player Víctor Sotomayor denied rumors that he or other former players had visited the training complex to address the squad. Sotomayor emphasized that while former players can help instill the club's identity, leadership must come from the current coach and president.

Following recent losses, coach Jorge Sampaoli briefly considered resigning but has been confirmed to continue after a meeting with club president Andrés Fassi. Additionally, the club announced that Matías Catalán and Juan Sforza will rejoin the first team after training separately.
