Talleres removes Sebastián Fassi from sporting role

The Board of Directors of Talleres has decided to remove Sebastián Fassi from his position as sporting vice president. The decision was reached during a meeting on Thursday night following the return of Andrés Fassi to the country.

Sebastián Fassi had assumed his role at the beginning of 2025, overseeing youth divisions, scouting, transfer management, and supporting the professional squad and coaching staff. The club's president has signaled upcoming changes for next year, including squad restructuring and a transfer market strategy focused on avoiding relegation.

The leadership change follows a difficult period for the club. Talleres currently sits at the bottom of Zone “A” and has been mathematically eliminated from the 2026 Clausura Tournament. Additionally, the team occupies 20th place in the annual table, meaning they will not participate in international competitions in 2027.
