Tallinn Airport Targets 5 Million Passengers and 60 Destinations by 2030

Infrastructure Minister Kuldar Leis announced new owner expectations for Tallinn Airport, emphasizing the development of international flight connections, expansion of terminal throughput and strengthening of crisis readiness. The airport is expected to handle 5 million passengers per year by the end of the decade and to serve at least 60 destinations.

Recent figures show the airport processed 313 000 passengers in April, a 12 % rise year‑on‑year, and recorded roughly 3.5 million passengers in 2025. Plans include cooperation with airlines and the tourism sector, construction of new E‑class gate stands with Nordecon, and upgrades to handle growing passenger volumes. Commercial director Eero Pärgmäe noted that high fuel prices remain a challenge for the airport’s operations.
