Tallinn and Tartu recognize top Estonian entrepreneurs

Estonian cities Tallinn and Tartu have recognized significant achievements in their local business sectors through recent entrepreneurship awards.

In Tallinn, the 23rd annual Tallinn Entrepreneurship Awards have selected 26 nominees across seven categories. These nominees represent diverse sectors, including real estate, science, tourism, manufacturing, and civil protection. The winners will be announced on October 13 at the Tallinn City Hall. City officials noted that the nominees reflect the diversity and ambition of the city's economic landscape.

In Tartu, the annual gala honored the city's top entrepreneurs. Notable winners include INHUS Prefab OÜ, recognized for job creation through construction projects, and Epler & Lorenz OÜ, named Investor of the Year following a 25 million euro investment in a hazardous waste incineration plant. AS HANZA Mechanics was awarded as the Export Grower of the Year, and WELEMENT AS was named Small Business of the Year. Orien Trade OÜ received the Large Business award for its expansion into Korean and Japanese beauty markets.
