Tallinn Fringe Festival introduces sauna theatre

The Tallinn Fringe Festival, running from August 18 to September 18, is expanding its program to include sauna theatre. This year, Elamus Spa has joined the festival to introduce Aufguss rituals.

These rituals combine hot air and aromas with elements of music, light, and performance. While sauna performances have gained international attention at events like the Edinburgh Fringe, this addition brings a unique connection between traditional Estonian sauna culture and contemporary performing arts to the festival.
