Tallinn hosts major cultural festivals and musical events

Tallinn is hosting several major cultural events this autumn. The Tallinn Fringe Festival, now in its tenth year, features over 192 performances across 30 locations, including comedy, theater, music, and circus arts.

Musical highlights include a performance by DJ Armin van Buuren on September 5, featuring his ‘The ORB’ multimedia show, and a concert by the jazz-funk collective Snarky Puppy on September 6. Additionally, the city will host the Oyster Festival on September 5 and offer free admission to various city museums on September 6.

In the film industry, the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) is celebrating its 30th anniversary by placing a special focus on Baltic cinema. Supported by the Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian film institutes, the festival aims to highlight the growing international visibility and talent of the Baltic film region through recent productions, co-productions, and retrospectives.
