TalénPro celebrates 10 years of youth talent and social impact in Panama

The tenth edition of TalénPro, an inter-school festival combining music, dance, and audiovisual production with social responsibility, was held at the Arena Roberto Durán. Created by singer-songwriter Erika Ender through the Puertas Abiertas Foundation, the program provides a platform for high school students to develop artistic skills while promoting values such as solidarity and social commitment.

In this edition, finalists competed in categories including Best Performer, Best Song, Best Dance Group, and Best Audiovisual. Beyond the stage, participants engaged in social projects focused on healthy child development, such as creating gardens and improving school dining areas. Over its first decade, the program has involved more than 5,000 young people and benefited over 54,000 people.

The gala featured several honors, including the Faro Award for Panamanian actress Patricia De León and the TalénPro Artist 2026 award for Mexican singer Emmanuel, presented by his son Alexander Acha and Erika Ender. Spanish composer Manuel Alejandro was also honored for his musical legacy. Additionally, the event served as a fundraiser for families affected by the earthquake on October 9.
