Talpa Network offers support for Netherlands' Eurovision participation

The Netherlands may reconsider its decision to withdraw from the 2027 Eurovision Song Contest following an offer of support from private media group Talpa Network. Previously, public broadcasters AVROTROS and Omroep MAX had indicated they would not participate, threatening the country with a hiatus from the event.

Talpa Network’s video director, Frans Klein, expressed the company's willingness to assist the public broadcaster NPO, stating, “If we can help in any way, let us know. The Song Contest is very close to our hearts.” While the NPO has responded positively to the offer, a formal partnership faces logistical hurdles. Because Talpa is a commercial entity and not a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the official responsibility for participation would remain with the NPO.
