Tam Anh General Hospital exceeds 100 complex joint replacements using AI robot
Tam Anh General Hospital has reached a milestone by completing over 100 complex joint replacement surgeries using the AI-integrated CUVIS-Joint robotic system. This achievement, which includes a 100% success rate, has been recognized by the robot manufacturer, CUREXO, as being among the top globally in terms of speed and proficiency.
According to hospital officials, reaching 100 robotic surgeries typically takes international medical facilities between 6 to 12 months due to training and patient selection requirements. Tam Anh Hospital's rapid progression follows its receipt of three International Excellence Certifications for proactive CUVIS-Joint robotic surgery.
The hospital prioritizes the use of this new-generation AI robot for highly complex cases that are difficult or unsafe to treat with traditional techniques or older robotic models. These cases often involve severe joint deformities, bone necrosis, soft tissue contracture, or limb misalignment. The technology provides surgeons with high-precision data, including bone cutting positions, limb axes, and bone thickness, to ensure higher safety and accuracy.
