Tam Hung Commune accelerates land clearance for major Hanoi urban projects

Tam Hung Commune in suburban Hanoi is accelerating land clearance for several large-scale urban development projects. Key initiatives include the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area, the My Hung - Cienco5 New Urban Area, and a multi-purpose urban area.

For the Hanoi International Sports Urban Area, which is being developed by Vingroup with a total investment of approximately 925 trillion VND, the local authorities have issued land recovery notices for 1,194 hectares (87.5% of the area within the commune) and recovery decisions for 1,078 hectares. Compensation, support, and resettlement plans have been approved for approximately 1,085 hectares, with a total budget of roughly 8,400 billion VND.

Additionally, progress is being made on the multi-purpose urban area, where cadastral measurements have been publicly listed for 81% of the site. Local leadership has directed officials to focus on land clearance, public investment disbursement, and land management to ensure these major projects proceed.
