Tamaleuca Poll Merino records record ram sale results

Tamaleuca Poll Merino stud has achieved record results at its recent on-farm ram sale. The Ouyen-based stud, led by principal Kevin Crook and partner Danni Wilson, recorded an average sale price of $2,223 per ram, marking an increase of $464 over the previous year.

The sale saw 64 rams cleared, with a top price of $7,800 for a 15-month-old ram. The event attracted 20 bidders and 15 buyers, and was followed by the private treaty sale of an additional 22 rams. Mr. Crook noted that the sale represented the largest crowd the stud has witnessed at an on-property event.
