Taman Ismail Marzuki to host Ali Sadikin centennial art exhibition

Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) will host a fine arts exhibition titled ‘100 Years of Ali Sadikin: Memoria and Utopia Jakarta’ from November 20 to December 10, 2026. The archive-based exhibition, curated by Syakieb Sungkar and Hairus Salim, features 35 artists from Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta to commemorate the legacy of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta.

The event will take place at Selasar Nashar within the Raden Saleh Pavilion (PRS). This facility is part of an effort by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) to strengthen the local art ecosystem by providing a dedicated space for artists to work, discuss, and network. Anya Aprilia, Head of SBU TIM at Jakpro, noted that the pavilion is designed to support artists from both outside Jakarta and abroad during their activities at the complex.
