Tamannaah Bhatia discusses Chhath Puja in upcoming film ‘The One’

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has shared her deep respect for the Chhath Puja festival while preparing for her upcoming film, ‘The One’, starring alongside Siddharth Malhotra. To authentically portray the significance of the ritual in the song ‘Chhathi Maiyya’, Bhatia spent time researching the traditions of Bihar and Patna. The film is scheduled for release on September 25, 2026.

In related industry news, director Priyadarshan revealed that Akshay Kumar was not the initial choice for the villain role in his upcoming crime thriller, ‘Haiwan’. While Saif Ali Khan was originally confirmed for the project, several actors declined the antagonist role. Kumar reportedly volunteered for the psycho character after a conversation with Priyadarshan during the filming of ‘Bhoot Bangla’.
