Tamannaah Bhatia discusses filming challenges for ‘The Vvaan’

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has shared details regarding the filming of the movie ‘The Vvaan’, specifically discussing the challenges of an underwater sequence. As a non-swimmer, Bhatia reported feeling ‘terrified’ during the shoot, which required her to undergo specialized swimming and deep-sea diving training to film a near-drowning scene for the song ‘Chhathi Maiya’. She credited co-star Sidharth Malhotra, a deep-sea diver, for providing support during the demanding process.

Bhatia also discussed the spiritual themes of the film and her personal connection with Malhotra, noting that they previously met at the Isha Yoga Centre. She highlighted the importance of mainstream actors supporting stories rooted in faith and tradition to reach broader audiences. Additionally, Bhatia addressed rumors of a rift between the director and Malhotra, dismissing them as untrue and emphasizing the unity of the production team. The film’s crew reportedly focused on portraying Chhath rituals with sensitivity to avoid hurting the sentiments of devotees.
