Tamara Zidanšek reaches Mallorca semifinals

Slovenian tennis player Tamara Zidanšek has advanced to the semifinals of the WTA 125 tournament in Mallorca. Following a three-set battle, Zidanšek defeated Switzerland's Rebeka Masarova with a score of 6:4, 3:6, and 6:3. A decisive factor in her victory was her serve, which landed 79 percent of first serves during the match. She is set to face 18-year-old Czech player Laura Samson in her next match.

In Lisbon, Polona Hercog reached the quarterfinals but was eliminated by the tournament's top seed, Spain's Jessica Bouzas Maneiro. Despite winning the first set 6:4, Hercog lost the subsequent sets 1:6 and fell short in a closely contested third set. Meanwhile, the doubles duo of Dalila Jakupović and Nika Radišić has successfully reached the final in Lisbon.
