Tamaulipas authorities coordinate safety protocols for Sistema CONECTA

The Tamaulipas government is strengthening coordination between the Secretariat of Urban Development and the Environment (SEDUMA) and the Medical Urgency Regulatory Center (CRUM) to enhance safety for the Sistema CONECTA Route 1 in Ciudad Victoria.

With more than 3,000 daily passengers, officials are working to establish and standardize an action protocol. This protocol aims to define responsibilities, communication mechanisms, and criteria for responding to medical emergencies, accidents, and other situations requiring specialized attention during transit.

The agreement includes strengthening channels to request intervention from CRUM, the State Police, and other competent corporations to ensure a rapid, organized, and articulated response that prioritizes passenger welfare and avoids improvised actions.
