Tamaulipas authorities improve state police labor conditions and launch labor‑rights training
The Tamaulipas State Human Rights Commission (CODHET) inspected the state police complex in Ciudad Victoria, noting upgrades to hygiene, food quality, dormitory facilities, and the provision of new mattresses. Representatives praised the improvements as evidence of the Secretariat of Public Security's commitment to dignifying and strengthening the working conditions of the Guardia Estatal.
Separately, the state’s Secretariat of Economy, together with the Labor and Social Welfare Secretariat, held a virtual seminar on “Good Labor Practices for Growing Companies.” The training covered Mexican labor relations, work‑day regulations, wages, contracts and occupational safety, aiming to enhance compliance with labor law among businesses and promote fair employment conditions throughout Tamaulipas.
