Tamaulipas implements social, educational, and judicial initiatives

Various institutional developments and public services are being implemented across Tamaulipas. The DIF Tamaulipas has awarded 1.2 million pesos to six civil associations through the Lazos del Bienestar 2026 program to support social assistance projects.

In Ciudad Victoria, the Civil Registry will offer expedited services during the Feria Tamaulipas 2026 from October 15 to 26. This includes birth certificate issuance starting at 50 pesos for local residents and 100 pesos for those from other states, alongside CURP and biometric CURP services.

The Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) is marking several milestones, including the tenth anniversary of the Biblioteca Central Victoria and a 20 percent increase in enrollment at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences. The university is also expanding its professional training through new diplomas in politics and notary management.

On the security and justice front, the Tamaulipas Attorney General's Office has launched the Institutional Human Identification Program to improve the process of identifying deceased persons. Additionally, authorities in San Fernando detained four individuals suspected of involvement in illegal hydrocarbon extraction after discovering a site containing approximately 8,000 liters of diesel.
