Tamaulipas continues Kemp's ridley sea turtle conservation

The Tamaulipas Parks and Biodiversity Commission is continuing conservation efforts for the Kemp's ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys kempii) as the arrival season nears its end. Specialized technical personnel are conducting patrols in nesting areas to detect nests, monitor hatching, and assist in the release of hatchlings into the sea.

Luis García, executive vocal of the commission, emphasized the importance of permanent specialized work to strengthen the protection of wildlife. These actions are part of a broader state policy under Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya to protect natural resources and preserve biodiversity in Tamaulipas.
