Tamaulipas delivers 99 tons of fertilizer to Llera citrus producers
The Secretaría de Desarrollo Rural, Pesca y Acuacultura has delivered 99 tons of granulated fertilizer to agricultural producers in the Emiliano Zapata ejido, located in the municipality of Llera, Tamaulipas. This distribution, which includes 3,960 sacks, aims to support 321 agricultural producers.
For the third consecutive year, this initiative has been implemented to strengthen primary production and bolster the citrus sector in the region. The support is part of the ‘Programa S107 Apoyo al Desarrollo Productivo y Económico 2026’, specifically under the component for direct inputs to improve productive activities.
Subsecretary of Agricultural Development Eliseo Camacho Nieto led the delivery on behalf of Secretary Antonio Varela Flores. Local officials, including Llera Municipal President Moisés Borjón Olvera, noted the importance of these resources for the survival and development of local citrus crops.
