Tamaulipas extends fiscal benefits through 2026

The Tamaulipas government, through its Ministry of Finance, has extended a series of fiscal benefits through December 31, 2026, to support taxpayers and the state's productive sectors. Finance Secretary Carlos Irán Ramírez González announced that these incentives aim to facilitate tax compliance and provide economic relief to families.

Key benefits include a 30 percent discount on vehicle control rights and plates for compliant taxpayers, and a 50 percent reduction in fines and surcharges for vehicles manufactured between 2018 and 2025. Public transport concessionaires can access a special rate of 14,800 pesos, while motorcycle owners may benefit from preferential rates for vehicle control and driver's licenses.

Additionally, the package includes discounts on fines for establishments selling alcoholic beverages and reductions in surcharges related to state taxes. To ensure widespread awareness, the Ministry of Finance held a coordination meeting with the heads of the state's 43 tax offices to streamline information dissemination and service delivery.
