Tamaulipas government inaugurates new building at UT Altamira

The government of Tamaulipas has inaugurated a new academic building at the Universidad Tecnológica de Altamira (UTALT). The facility houses a modern computer laboratory equipped with specialized technology designed to support students in mechatronics, renewable energy, and electromobility programs.

During the inauguration, Tamaulipas Secretary of Education Miguel Ángel Valdez García highlighted the state government's commitment to higher education infrastructure. The new laboratory aims to enhance practical training in automation, energy, and new mobility technologies. UTALT Rector Mara Grassiel Acosta González expressed gratitude for the support provided by Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya in strengthening the university's academic and humanistic quality through improved facilities.
